One of the most remote wildlife lodges in Northern Indian forests, Aura wildlife camp is an internationally-acclaimed eco- lodge located on a secluded bank of the Western Ramganga River deep inside Kalagarh Tiger Reserve division of the Corbett Tiger Reserve. AWC, a quiet and quaint place, spread on a stretch of half kilometre riverfront of land, is a wildlife safari lodge and camp situated amidst the wilderness and the dense flora and fauna surrounded by mountains on all sides. It is 30 km from Ramnagar City in Uttarakhand and 30m from the lifeline of the National Park, the Ramganga river. Located on the fringe of the Corbett Tiger Reserve, the family of tigers with a baby cub were last spotted just behind the campsite on 20th December 2020. Its location, accessible only by a Half Kilometre cross-country hike or by 4x4 and then a raft over the Ramganga River, and its limited indigenous stone and mud constructions and complete involvement with the community, makes Aura wildlife camp the perfect example of sustainability. Add to this our food sourcing and preparation, simple on-foot activities so closely linked to nature, and the quality of local naturalists, we have created a forest haven and a low-carbon footprint experience.
Welcome to Aura Wild Life Camps & Resorts, where nature meets in a harmonious embrace. Nestled amidst pristine landscapes, our resort is a sanctuary for those seeking an immersive and rejuvenating escape.
